The Chair of Soil Science, TU Munchen, invites to a lab course on NanoSIMS applications in biogeochemistry, from soils to sediments, and from geology to microbiology. The course will take place at the NanoSIMS facility of the Chair of Soil Science in Freising-Weihenstephan, Germany.
The course aims to provide young scientists (PhD students and PostDocs) with hands on laboratory experience on NanoSIMS sample preparation, sample pre-characterisation and measurements of environmental samples. The focal areas will reach from soils to sediments to foster process understanding in a variety of disciplines, such as soil science, geo-science and biology.
The program will comprise both lectures by leading scientists and laboratory work on own "real" samples in small groups.
The number of participants is limited to 10. More information on application & registration fee at this link.
